Here's probably the quickest possible introduction to the concept of rhythm, pulse and syncopation that you'll ever get. Bill brings us into pulse through a body movement and uses vocalization to demonstrate subdivision of time. He then gives his perspective on the origins of syncopation via clavé and polyrhythm. He wraps up with a lightening fast pro-tip on the single and double strokes. Whew!
Check out the other segments as well. From voyages into the inner spaces of artists to Island history to furniture repair to homemade concoctions to put on toast - you'll find art and skill and conversations that enrich your life with the truest forms of wealth and well being. Thanks again Bill and everyone who participated!
